Happy Birthday to The Foreigner!

Today The Foreigner celebrates its 5th birthday--making it one of my longer relationships. 

For five years I have written--though not as consistently as I would have liked--about the places I have been, the people I've met, and the experiences I've had. In those five years I have lived in Middlebury, Hangzhou, Paris, Washington DC, Middlebury, West Hartford, Nanjing, West Hartford, Washington DC, and New York City. I have made and kept friendships. It's been quite a journey. 

I hope there will be many more countries and experiences to come.
