Orcas Island is a Breath of Fresh Air
An hour and a half north of Seattle is the Anacortes ferry terminal, where you can catch an hour-long ferry ride to the San Juan islands. I went to Orcas Island for a long weekend. The ocean panoramas and small-town vibes reminded me strongly of my trip to Alaska.
